Welcome to the Astolat Model Railway Circle website.

Situated in Guildford, Surrey, our friendly club caters for model railway enthusiasts in scales ranging from 0 through 00 to N.  We have about 25 active members whose modelling interests span the periods from the pre-grouping eras right through to modern image trains of today.  Both standard and narrow gauge  are catered for and a number of members have an interest in industrial and mineral railways.  Although the current club layouts feature conventional control systems, many of our members have experience in DCC operation and our new Savernake OO gauge layout will be fully DCC.

We meet on Tuesday evenings in Dapdune Wharf's Barge Building Shed on the National Trust property at the end of Wharf Road, right next to the Cricket Ground.

For further information of the sorts of things we get up to go to Club Nights.

Given the latest government advice to reduce all social contact to a minimum and to not travel unless essential, the committee has decided that club Tuesday night activities should be suspended for the time being to ensure that wedo not inadvertently pass the coronavirus to our members, many of whom probably fall into the high-risk category.
Therefore there will be no more Tuesday night meetings and we will not be attending other exhibitions with layouts until further notice. The committee will continue to maintain contact via phone and email to ensure the continuation of club business. When the situation changes we will contact members and post information here.
