Somehow it’s summer again and that means we will soon be having our second open day of the year. There will be a variety of club and members layouts on display for you all to come and see what kind of things we produce, there’s the opportunity to talk to members and find out more about the club and if it’s something that might be for you too.
As a club we welcome everyone and encourage people to either join in with the club layout building (more on the club layouts) or to bring down your own projects to work on, show off or get help and advice on. Our member interests range from UK steam and diesels through to Japanese modern Shinkansen via American and European trains.
If building things isn’t your cup of tea, socializing is also a big part of our club, with members often congregating around the test track and chatting.
If you’re only just finding us and this sounds interesting to you, then pop along on August 17th and have a look for yourself.
