After a period of R&D, the club has started work on a member-driven modular N gauge layout. A lot of time and effort went into the designing of the 900x600mm boards which have been laser-cut for us by Grainge and Hodder, and are then made available to club members. Members have a set of guidelines to follow that make sure that all the boards will fit together, but outside of a small handful of constraints members are free to do with their boards what they wish. At this point in time, there are several members involved in the project.
We have a handful of members that are presently building to the modular standards and we will update this as we make progress.
